  1. Dear Sir,
Charge with Paypal seems a great, great app, but it doesn’t work on my Lumia 920 : error after confirming the payment…
I can send you screen captures by mail if you want…
For such an app, I would pay 10€ 🙂
If you can’t fix it, could you give me some good alternatives, please ?
Thank you very much, best regards,
Ronny, Belgium. (Je parle français !)

  2. Do you think you could add some kind of controls for Pandora to your XBMC app? I’ve got a Raspberry Pi hooked up to a set of speakers, running the Pandora JSON add-on and would like to be able to control the add-on from my phone. Since I don’t have a monitor or anything hooked up, I can’t use the standard remote control portion of your app.
Obviously this is a fairly specific usage, but I figured it never hurts to ask! (and I think it’s one that could be fairly popular if you were to implement it.)
You’ve done an amazing job thus far with your app – my wife and I pretty much use it on a daily basis!

  4. Hello, good evening.
I’m from Brazil, and I have a Lumia 830 with Windows Phone 8.1.
I wonder when the Media Center Remote for Windows Phone 8.1 will return to the windows phone store.
I had installed on my smartphone and now no longer installs.

  5. Fabien,

I notice your kodi remote control app is no longer available in the app store (UK). Will it be back? I had uninstalled it due to an update error and was very disappointed when I tried to reinstall it only to discover it is no longer available.

Alternatively, can you advise whether it is possible for me to bypass the store and install directly using files?

    Thank you.

  6. thanks for your good work, still I have a wish for your remote control app for xbmc/kodi for windows phone:
what I am looking for is to be able to follow the file structure of my music stored on the hard disk attached to my raspberry pi and then play a folder (which in most cases in similar to a cd) – using the mouse of my raspberry pi this is very well possible, but unfortunately not with your app

    1. Hi, thanks for your feedback. I have this feature in my todo list. I’ll add the possibility to browse the file system directly into the application.

  7. Dear Sir,
The XBMC/Kodi for WP is fantastic thank you, but since you changed it from XBMC to Kodi (for obvious reasons) you changed the logo on the tile and on the remote to a cross with arrows. IMHO it’s, I’m sorry, ugly! Would it not be possible for you to use the KODI logo instead, or do they charge for it? It reminds me of the old pilgrim Knights suit of armour with a white cross painted on it. Sorry this is only a minor detail as the app is great, but as I use it on a daily basis it’s something I see every day!

    1. Hi John,
Thank you for your feedback. Obviously, I am not a designer 🙂 I had to change the logo because of a copyright issue. I’m working on it and the next release for Windows Phone 10 will be much better 😉

  8. Hi Fabien,

First of all congrats on this app, it works very well and I am very pleased with, but am having some issues lately.

The problems I have been having occur when the APP is updated and the update is shown on my App Store for download.

The last two updates did not work at first attempt and this last one is still pending for many days. The problem is that I cannot uninstall the App because the option does not appear when I try to use, neither can I install the update.

Can you please help to try to understand why the update is failing? Is there any other way to update or remove the APP?

I had this app installed on a Lumia 520 and is now installed on a Lumia 640.

  9. Hello Fabien

I’m a user of your remote control to Kodi for Windows Phone

By a reason that I don’t know, I can’t acces my music collection since i’ve updated from Isengard to Jarvis Version of Kodi. Other section work very well, but when I enter in my music collectio, the app show me a error message: “an error happened” and a button “OK”, pressing this button, the app came back to the lists of section. I believe it be an incompatibility to Jarvis Version.
    Wait your Answer.

  10. Hello,
i use your app to control kodi on my raspberry. I have connected a Qnap NAS with the raspberry, but i’m not able to browse through the files on my Qnap.
Do you know how i can solve this?

    Thanks in advance.

  11. Hi Fabien,
I forked kodi-remote on GitHub, because I’m just learning UWP and didn’t want to mess up the original project. Also, the WP8.1 projects weren’t supported on my machine and the UWP gave me to many errors at first. Hope you don’t mind. If you find some useful code in mine (doubtful) just pull it back 😉
